Fashionistas were tickled pink to see the shade on Reese Witherspoon’s wedding dress. A pale blush beauty, the Monique Lhuillier creation featured a Chantilly lace corset which flowed into an ultra-feminine tulle skirt. Wrapping her slim waist with a silk satin ribbon added an extra element of elegance to the look.
As the traditional melody of “Here Comes the Bride” began, a pair of Jimmy Choo satin platform sandals which peeked out shyly from beneath the hem of the gown’s skirt carried the actress to her intended (Jim Toth), who slipped a wedding band on the star’s finger to accompany her 4-carat Ashoka-cut diamond engagement ring.

Marrying into a designing dynasty, Lauren Bush was a vintage-style vision on her wedding day in a couture creation which has the number two spot sewn up in Lovetripper’s list of the top 10 celebrity wedding dresses of 2011.
Taking place at the Double RL Ranch in Ridgway, Colorado, Lauren Bush’s wedding to David Lauren (son of fashion giant Ralph Lauren) was a nod to nostalgia with the bride’s Ralph Lauren gown embodying the feel of rustic romance.
A labor of love which took 100 skilled craftspeople more than 3,000 to complete, the wedding dresses featured sprinklings of off-white pearl beads amid ivory silk and metallic thread embellishments. The sentimental silhouette’s wedding band collar and long, diaphanous sleeves were the perfect foil for a flirty, open back.
