This year the Pony Village Mall gave brides-to-be a chance to see a living history of cheap wedding dresses during their Wedding Faire and Fashion Shows on Saturday.
High School students modeled the Wedding dresses worn by local residents on their special day, giving folks a chance to see the evolution of the wedding dress in our area.
Businesses in the Mall say this event is like Christmas, as they pack in hundreds to check out all things that have to do with weddings.
David Hannah, Owner of Big Tent Rents and Events, tells KCBY that the economy has slowed, but it hasn't slowed down those who want to get married.
"Last Summer was pretty good, this Summer is starting to look pretty good. I mean, it's slowed down with the economy but people are still wanting to get married."
